家人在布兰森鸭船事故中提起1亿美元的非法死亡诉讼; '鸭船是死亡陷阱'

印第安纳波利斯 - 当一艘鸭船在密苏里湖沉没时,九名印第安纳波利斯家族成员中的两人亲属提起联邦非法死亡诉讼,要求赔偿1亿美元。

76岁的Irvin Coleman和2岁的Maxwell Coleman-Ly在周日在美国地区提起的诉讼中说:“鸭子船是乘客的死亡陷阱,对公众在水上和陆地上造成严重危险。”密苏里州西区法院。

该诉讼将7月19日的悲剧归咎于“鸭船业几十年不可接受,贪婪驱动和故意无视安全”。

Shide the Ducks Branson的母公司Ripley Entertainment的女发言人Suzanne Smagala表示,他们仍然对事故感到悲伤,并为受害者及其家人提供支持。

Mongeluzzi表示,鸭船经营者一再未能注意到拆除檐篷的建议。

“鸭船正在下沉棺材,”Mongeluzzi说。“一旦他们接受水,他们就会下沉而且会快速下沉。”
